Dr. Frenette only wants patients taking suboxone or buprenorphine for pain which is NOT fda approved for pain. This medication is used to treat opioid use disorder. It works by reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms. All he wants is to do as many procedures as possible even if they are not working. Currently looking for a new pain dr that listens and is willing to help.

I went to perferred pain for around 3-4 yrs and I may have called in 3-4 times to cancel. I had to cancel March appointment because I had to go to gallbladder dr. they took it upon them self to cancel the one for April 7th, we'll I received a letter in mail from them dated for April 3rd they are no longer going to see me due to to many canceled appointments. the thing is I asked on April 7th when I go in and they said they didnt see me on schedule that it would be 2 or more weeks that they have no appointments ok well what a... read more
I started going to see Dr. Lou Frenette a little over one year ago. At the time, I was in tremendous pain & could barely walk due to cervical spinal stenosis & lower back dics issues. The pain caused both legs to hurt & my pain level was at approximately 9 on a scale of 1-10. Dr. Frenette & his staff performed several assessments of my pain to confirm its origin.
