Did not like this doctor at all. He was not a very caring doctor. I told him how my body felt and he pretty much told me my numbers were fine so I should feel fine. He also told me I wasn’t overweight because of my thyroid and it shouldn’t be harder for me to loose weight because of my thyroid. It is so hard to find good doctors? They do not care about helping people feel better. It’s really sad and it’s discouraging.

Before seeing Dr.Sekhar I seen a functional doctor, that I paid out of pocket for, who diagnosed me with hashimotos. I decided to see Dr.Sekhar since his office accepts my insurance, and as an endocrinologist, he should be skilled enough to manage my health. I brought my labs with me to his office and he laughed and made a joke about functional medicine and told me that I do have hashimotos, Google a good diet, follow it, and I'll see you back in a year. I absolutely love this doc he’s so sweet and his staff is very kind also … after reading some of the reviews all coming from Ppl that were late for their appt my advise would be to be on time ..if your late it makes the dr run behind on every patient all day
