I came to Grinnell for a bachelorette party and Prairie Canary was recommended to ensure we had a great night. Food was amazing! We all enjoyed our food but if I didn’t live in MN I’d be back very week for the grilled sirloin with asparagus and mash! Can’t wait to visit again!
Great menu. Brussel Sprouts were awesome. Had the chicken avocado BLT salad - it was good and more than I could eat. My had the Salmon Teryaki Bowl special - and we both enjoyed the Tomato soup with feta cheese. The restaurant is on Main Street and has a cool vibe. Bar looked inviting. Staff was great.
Food delicious and service also great. If you like Moscow mules try their Copper Cat on tap. You won’t be disappointed. I love that the menu changes but sometimes you wish you could have one of their specials twice and it is not available. A good problem to have.
Had the Steak du Burgo, Apple Salad, all phenomenal. Great service and ambiance. Been wanting to try this place after a 20+ hiatus from Grinnell. Worth every penny. Highly recommended. Unusually good from such a small town.

Wonderful food with an attentive, yet non intrusive staff.
Great food and a better atmosphere. Very well done, and they have the most amazing servers. Ours, I believe her name was.... Oh what was it, Amanda? Alex? Abby? Abby! That's right. Abby was the single best server I've ever had in my life, and I will refuse to return to this restaurant unless she's working. Best of the best.
