The skills taught in DBT are useful and important. Unfortunately, the way they were delivered was harmful for me as someone with physical disabilities, PTSD, and AuDHD. The woman who did my intake was fantastic, gave me all my options, and actually listened to me.
They were horrible and refused to let me make new appointments because I'm trans. Apparently their outpatient services are not available to members of the lgbtqia community anymore. I wish I had known earlier so I had time to switch providers.
It's an awkward place to get into with a wheelchair van and parking, well that is even worse.
