Power Properties is HORRIBLE I want to to say that this management has been horrendous. When I first moved in, the duplex was not cleaned. I found a fingernail in the bathroom drawer. The master bath tub was stained and clogged with hair so that it was unusable. The floors were not swept or mopped. It was a disgrace to move into. Angela who is MAD AS HELL! I reported that my place had been broken into at about 12 noon the day of the burglary, no one came out to repair my windows or locks. I had to call three times after I reported the break in. I called the property manger at about 7 that night. Someone boarded up the window at 9 that night. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!! I too had to write several letters and make several trips to get anything accomplished. Will Never Rent from Power Properties Again When we moved from Power Properties' duplexes they retained a good part of our security deposit for repainting the apartment and cleaning the inside of 2 light covers. Now, the entire apartment did NOT need to be repainted and the few little marks that were on the walls (like from a piece of furniture sitting against it) would not have taken 30 minutes to cover. I have NEVER had a problem that has not been addressed, And the one about VICKIE being rude? come on, you could not ask for a better person to deal with, this lady never has a bad day. Power Properties is the worst company. I rented from Power Properties and there was a RAT in my apartment. They were rude about the situation, and never found the rat. THen, they towed my sister's car who had a parking pass on it (because parking passes are required). The parking pass fell off my sister's window and they still tried to make her pay for the towing, even though it was the resident advisor's fault. rent an apartment power properties is good when you need to move now, they usually have something available, and you don't have a lot of money to put down as a security deposit. Our duplex flooded onetime, with water from the pond behind us. We had standing water on the floor and the owner brought in big fans to dry the carpet. No assistance with repairing our damaged furniture and other things. We had to threaten bringing some kind of action against him, if he didn't replace the carpet.
