I bought a Hydra chip from Power hungry performance due to the fact that I haul a 40-foot flatbed 3 axle trailer up to North Carolina Mountains Every Spring and fall and I needed the extra torque to pull some of these six and seven degree Highway inclines. I'm totally a happy camper now with the 65 h.p tow mode and the other selections. ..... I highly recommend
I bought the Hydra chip back in March. The chip was was easy and worked great. I needed some revisions and after calling twice a week I got through. Got some revisions a week afterwards which still needed changes. This was told me on the 27th of April. I call again yesterday and Marshal said Bill was gone for a day and would have them done. Still nothing... PHP makes a great product, but their customer support is terrible... if you need a few weeks to rewrite some tunes no biggy. At least tell me so I know. Made a huge difference to my 1999 7.3 f350 Dually.
Got my tunes on my truck about 1 year ago and they work great.
I got the Ficm tune and the a mild tow tune. Truck never ran better. This was a couple of years ago. Still happy with it. Looking to move into the new tuner they are offering.
