Great atmosphere and food!
We recommend the Elk Burger and Buffalo Stew. They tasted great!
We have always loved staying here at the PHL!! It's our first choice when booking in the Hills! The restaurant is wonderful and the rooms/cabins are always clean and adorable! My only wish would be for less road noise - back in the day, the PHL used to be much further from the road - but with the road widened, there isn't much the lodge can do about it!

My husband and I are on a 9-day tour of the area and found this restaurant by accident. We absolutely loved it! Our meals were outstanding! My husband had the rib-eye steak and twice-baked potato and enjoyed every bite! I had the buffalo meatloaf. It was one of the very best meals I've had in my 72 years! Even the mixed vegetables were just right! The service was pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back and we will also recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Thank you for this lovely experience!
We had dinner here two nights in a row. It was convenient since we were staying here with a pet and didn't want to leave her. Very good prime rib. In fact, the best I ever had. Very nice people. Traveling through the area and found by accident. If I ever come back, I will definitely stop again.
