Atmosphere was great! Service was friendly and meals were decent. Wild game kabobs were a bit tough and chewy but was made up for with a great pork shank! Buffalo short ribs i give a 2 for they were super market quality and the elk medallion needs to go back to drawing board because you could make a boot out it! Baked potato was old and looked as if it warmed in the microwave. I still give a 3 because I'm not finicky and most of the other dishes we ordered made up for the ones that lacked!
Just stayed there for 3 nights very nice place! Rooms always cleaned and fresh towels. Had supper at the restaurant and it was excellent! Best prime rib i have had! Will definitely stay there again!
The good: my husband got the prime rib and it was excellent. The service was good, too. The not-so-good: My buffalo short ribs were slathered in so much BBQ sauce that I couldn't actually taste the meat. I literally could not tell how the meat tasted. The portion was also incredibly small. A shame - we'd heard such good things about the food here. Don't plan on going back.
Consistently good food, great service & quaint - we try to stop here every time we're in the Black Hills
The Buffalo stew was amazing and the Indian taco...YES !! The bread bowl and tortilla were home made

Had the Buffalo prime rib it was great and the rest of my group had a variety of things, as well as we had breakfast there also service and food is all been great
