We had high hopes but the elk was gristly and tough. The quail had too much sweet sauce. Pretty expensive meal considering we couldn’t eat much of it. The bison and venison were ok on the kebabs. Can’t truly recommend. The setting was lovely.
RecommendedWe had bacon wrapped elk filets that were melt in your mouth delicious and cooked to perfection. Topped off by a rhubarb cherry crisp and coffee. The service from Katrina the best !!
RecommendedWe visited Powder House twice while here this week. Once for a great lunch and tonight for a Fabulous Dinner. The Elk Tenderloin was absolutely wonderful. 4 out of 5 of us ordered it. One ordered the Buffalo Meatloaf and he raved about it. Our waitress Katrina was great and very personable. We had a great time. This was our best and favorite meal out of a 24 day road trip!
RecommendedMost of out group had bacon wrapped Elk filet and one had Buffalo meatloaf. All could not believe had delicious the food was. The service was outstanding and enjoyable. The restaurant has the same great service for lunch as we found out the day before. You eliminate the crowd from down town and had plenty of parking. The best Elk filet I ever tasted.
