This person (because it's obviously the same person, or at least hired friends) has no idea what they are talking about! They clearly have some personal problem with Pour La Pooch. Be warned! – I am shocked by their behavior! Especially the owner Mia. I read other reviews saying she "loved" pets when obviously she doesn't. She just loves the money she can make off of them. Pour La Pooch does not take responsibility nor care of your pets and they are inhumanely treated when left there for grooming. I strongly suggest not bringing your pet here, especially if you want them to walk out on all fours...or even walk for that matter.
.........r u serious? – R u serious???!?!!??! Is this place still open? I'm amazed they are still open after all the customers they've made mad! I wanna tell the oener to shove it where the sun don't shine.
unbelievable... – The first time I took my pets here, was the last time I took them here. Unacceptable, insensitive, and discourteous. They treat pets like they are objects. I have heard horror stories of pets being left in cages over 9 hrs for a groom, to nicks, abrasions to much much worse. All with no inkling of remorse, or any sight of an apology. I am just thankful that my pets came out unharmed (for the most part, one had 2 nicks). I reach out to others, if you love your pet, please do not take them here.
I WAS WRONG – I once wrote a great review on this site for this groomer. I am NOT being paid or hired to write a VERY different one. I know the place, I've been going there for years. Warm and Loving!! – I wouldn't know a better place to take a dog for grooming. Just walking into the quaint place makes you feel relaxed and welcome with fresh colors and beautiful displays of dog goodies. And Gia the owner, well there are just not enough words to describe her wonderful spirit. Her love of dogs shines with every dog that walks through the door. Best Doggie Groomer in LA – This is the best grooming shop in LA, thanks to Gia and a staff of groomers who have been working there for over 10 years! My dog actually get excited and LOVES going there. They are especially gentle and kind to old, sick or frightened dogs. And Gia will take the time to really talk with you and get to know your dog. I've been taking my dogs to Pour La Pooch for 10 years, and it's always 5 star service!
So Sweet! – Meeting Gia and Pour La Pooch was a stroke of good luck. She is caring and sweet. She has impeccable taste with accessories and my own sweet dog was a happy Pooch when I arrived to pick him up after his grooming. She was kind to him as he is older but very spry. She was patient with him. Most importanly, I could tell that she was kind to him. You can really tell these things! I love the neighborhood feel of the store. My Pooch and I will definitely be a regular now.
