A little snobbish miss Gia. But her groomers are great. I guess she is getting all the credit. If you are not a celebrity of wannabe don't expect to have her roll the red carpet for you anytime soon.

Gia has a heart of gold – I was in a time period of terrible personal turmoil and Gia made me feel like family, and remind me I was human and could always use a helping hand. She would take wonderful care of Otto and BoyNamedSue, and was extremely patient when it came to demanding requests. Also, we went to several other groomers before finding Gia, and the results were horrific (cut paw pad without being told when we picked him up) to the just absolutely worst haircut with no love behind it. Pour la Pooch is a jewel in LA.

Gotta Love It!! – Our dog is actually pretty easy-going, as far as Pomeranians go, but he's never liked going to the groomer, except at Pour La Pooch. At most places, he digs his nails into the sidewalk trying to avoid going through the door, but at Pour La Pooch he jumps out of the car and is thrilled to see Gia. I'm not sure if it's cause and effect, but he also gets the best haircuts here -- Gia is very attentive and he always turns out looking great. Personal Touch! – I absolutely love Pour La Pooch. My dog gets a fantastic cut, but the best thing about the place is the personal attention. The owner takes notes of your preferences and keeps them on file. She pays special attention to each individual dog and has a great way of putting the dogs at ease. She's a true dog lover and it makes a huge difference. I used to get really nervous whenever I left my sweet dog with other groomers but now I can rest easy because I know he is being very well taken care of.

Pour La Pooch provides excellent customer service---just ask the dogs I walk! – I have been a dog walker and pet sitter near and around the area of Pour La Pooch, so even though I don't have a dog myself, I know that Gia and her store are awesome! Whenever I go to Pour La Pooch to care for any of "my" animals, the staff provides excellent customer service, the store is very clean, and the pets are happy to be there. A Little Reasoning... – I was concerned after seeing the negative feedback, but being someone who works in customer service who has experienced slanderous material being posted in an open forum, I decided to do some research. I spoke to my vet, who told me that any animal can still function and be playful even with an injury. It might even be a pre-existing condition that the owner may not be aware of yet. my comment... – I havent been here, but I can tell you this: the dog was HEALTHY and WALKING and JUMPING and PLAYING before it got there. Backtracking and changing your accounts of what happened that day and/or your opinions about Gia, Pour La Pooch, or the deceased pet's owner is none of my concern. The only thing i can comment on is: i saw the dog that morning and it was as healthy as any pup should be.

POOR LA POOCH – I decided to write a review to offer a different review to the sugar coated efforts to cover up that this place is negligent. The dog was a young HEALTHY dog with records to probe it!. NO review in the world could have changed my mind before, I wrote one that was VERY positve so I completely "get" the positive reviews, "my dog looks great, the owner is sweet, only the best for my dog, etc. ." To Unbelievable – What's really UNBELIEVABLE is that you read hearsay on the internet and change your opinion based on that and not even on your own experience, which has always been good. If you don't have the intelligence to form your own opinions, do the world a favor and don't write reviews. This is a first class establishment and you people can't comprehend that the perpetrator of this negativity is just lashing out, trying to blame someone for her dog's problem and trying to make a buck in the process?
