We went for the New Year's Eve Gala and it was so worth it!!! The price ($399.00 for 2) included cocktail hour with plenty of hors d'oeuvres, open bar for the duration, photo booth, sit down dinner with choice of entree, dessert, champagne toast, noise makers and hats AND overnight stay and brunch the next morning...what more could you ask for?! Everything was great!!! Highly recommend!!!

Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Christmas party for our union. Food was good, but should have been hotter, temperature wise. Waited an hour for a pitcher of water. Never got it. Wait staff, servers seem to disappear. Coffee was served after dessert was finished.
The hotel staff were all accommodating my room was ready after they checked in 150 or more quests for a seminar and they let everyone check in early. Stayed in a beautiful king room.
Poughkeepsie Grand has always been a pillar in the community. I have attended chamber events, engagements, weddings, other events and had my own Galas and other parties at the Poughkeepsie Grand for as long as I can remember. Maureen is amazing, Gina is great and the entire staff are just incredible. Planning an event can be stressful but not with the Poughkeepsie Grand. Always had a good time staying at the Grand and holding our events there.
