Food was good. Waitress not so great sat for 15 minutes for a waitress to come to the table and the only reason one showed up is because I flagged her down. Ordered food got salad 5 minutes before meal came out, again because I had to ask for my salad.
Had not been there in many years.Wished I'd never gone in there the service was terrible 25 minutes before I ever got a roll one for which they're famous for...should have realized when I walked in the door the place was dead very few customers the Wait staff has not attenive whatsoever. furthermore as a restaurant you should never run out of product. This is NOT the Potatoe Patch I remember... Chicken fried steak was “barely” thicker than the fork (picture attached) and the breading fell off upon first contact. Overall quality of the rest of the food was mediocre at best and flat out gross at worst. Nothing was served warm, the excessively thin cut of meat used tasted “aged” in a bad way and made my wife physically ill for hours after our meal. Awful customer service; rude owner. tried to take my wife and kids for mother's day lunch. Arrived at 2:45; was seated by 3:10 and immediately ordered food. At 3:45 we are told kitchen is backed up, and our food will be another 25 minutes (has not even hit the grill yet). We decided to leave as my son was needing to got to work shortly. I told the owner that was standing up front of our experience. She blamed inexperienced kitchen and demanded my table number so she could reprimand the waiter (not the waiter's fault). wasted my mothers day meal with family at potato patch today. waited over 45 minutes for food which was barely warm. so disappointed. used to love it there....not any more. done.
Love this place original and old fashion and food is great
the fresh rolls and all the free appetizers
