Great Little date spot – Went to Portofino on a Friday night, around 815. Was a cozy little place inside, not crowded at all though. Great service, great food. We both loved our dishes, I went with the seafood fra diavolo and my date had the sausage & gemelli a la vodka. Definitely worth a try..

great northern italian food – My wife and I went there for the first time the day before Valentines Day. All I can say is this place was great! Great food great service and atmosphere. Everyone is made to feel like a regular and nothing goes undone. The garlic chicken though they explained took a little longer to prepare was worth the wait which really was not long at all. A perfect dining experience – This was our second visit to Portofino. We visit Portofino when we want a five star meal in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I have read several of the negative reviews about Portofino and I just don't understand what these people found wrong with this delightful restaurant. Is it a place to bring your young children? NO. Fantastic! – My girlfriend and I decided to go to Portofino for my birthday dinner, and I have to say that this is one of the best kept Italian secrets in Portland. Not only was the service the best I have had in some time, but the dinner was over the top. A Great Neighborhood Spot – Portofino, in my opinion, is the perfect neighborhood restaurant. It's warm and cozy with excellent food, wine, and service, all at amazing prices. This is the best place in Sellwood! – My husband and I love this place!!! The food is fantastic, we have been here several times and never had a bad experience. We usually go alone since it is kind of cozy inside. It can be hard to get into on Friday or Saturday but it is worth it. Good portions, good choices on the menu... all around GREAT place to eat! I think I will have my husband take me here tonight!
Excellent food and service! – A friend and I stopped in for drinks in August after working a catering gig that evening. We finally returned last evening for dinner. The staff are friendly, the food is excellent and the service is great. You must have the Caesar salad! Thank you Seth, Chantal, Lisa, and Scott, for a great dinner!
