While your employees try to do the best job they are able to ~ it is obvious the people running the hospital have messed up priorities. I wonder if that piano sitting by the admissions office has staph or mursa on it?

It's no secret that I work here. Long ago I used to work in restaurants. I've always said you have found a good restaurant if the staff is willing to eat there too. Not only do we have an outstanding cafeteria, as I get to know the nurses, doctors and other staff I am continually amazed at the commitment to caring for people in our community. I have no hesitation at all in bringing my family to be treated here.

We had our third child here & the staff was friendly. There were some things during my delivery i would had seen done differently, but the care my son received in the n.i.c.u. was amazing. He was there for two weeks which seemed like a lifetime, but without the love and compassion of the nurses and doctors, he wouldn't be home with us today, to celebrate his 5th month! PMC, sent me home after a 12 hour recovery from a full hysterectomy and other procedures. They sent me home with a catheter and pneumonia. I had to come back 3 days on a row for medication. They rushed the medication so fast in my veins, that was very cold and my arms were badly bruised. Now, fast forward to today. I have been having pain in my lower right abdomen. My Dad was at Portneuf for a minor surgical procedure. This was our first time here and the staff was extremely attentive to his every need and they continued to communicate with us regarding his status, even while he was in the OR. We're in recovery now and they continue to monitor his progress regularly, as we wait until he is cleared to go home. Our thanks go out to all the staff here!

Ridiculous! If you don't have insurance you might as well die right in the ER. My friend has had a stroke already and wasn't feeling well, so went to the ER. He was awaiting his Disability to go into effect. He was turned away in the ER because of no insurance. As he was leaving he had another stroke right there in the hallway. They helped him WALK TO HIS CAR! What caring Bastards!
