This cozy little spot is the place to come when you just need a burger. Its small size is made even smaller by the influx of hungry folks looking for lunch. After 7p when the business crowds disperse the restaurant is not quite as crowded. Locals have announced the hamburgers to be the best in town. They are served with a baked potato if their large size is not enough to fill you. The attentive staff at Port of Call also serves pizzas, filet mignon, rib eye steak and New York strip.

The best schooner salad I ever had! I shared the potato with my mother and we drank a monsoon and a bud light. The coldest bud light I ever had!⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Best pizza, best burgers and awesome drinks!!!! Will return!!!
Amazing food! And the Monsoon drink is ridiculously strong!
It was a great experience. Had a burger perfectly cooked with the loaded potato. The Monsoon was yummy to. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Can't wait to go back !
It was awesome ! There was alwAys over an hour wait (we checked 3 days in a row) finally our last night - we waited ! A super sweet couple invited us to sit wth them . My friend and I are both nurses - this couple was an engineer and his wife was a nurse ! They paid for our meals for my friends bday #payitforward - food was amazing & atmosphere was great ! A definite must in New Orleans!
Food is great drink is fantastic but bartender was rude
Ordered the ribeye, it was not a ribeye. Steak was cooked perfect but had no seasoning what so ever on it, it tasted like they just threw it in a pan. Service was mediocre as well.
The best bloody Mary in New Orleans . Love that they serve baked potato with the burger instead of the old standby french fries or chips, baked potato was just covered and sour cream chives and butter yummy.
Great place to eat!! Get a lot of food for the money.
