This cozy little spot is the place to come when you just need a burger. Its small size is made even smaller by the influx of hungry folks looking for lunch. After 7p when the business crowds disperse the restaurant is not quite as crowded. Locals have announced the hamburgers to be the best in town. They are served with a baked potato if their large size is not enough to fill you. The attentive staff at Port of Call also serves pizzas, filet mignon, rib eye steak and New York strip.

Amazing Hamburger and Baked Potato! Be careful if you order a monsoon to drink it could wipe you out. Overall a must stop in New Orleans.
I ordered the steak and I was tough, difficult to cut and chew. When I explained to the manager, he told me he was not going to make me another. As bad as I wanted to disrespect this the man, I didn't, due to I was with a large group of men (family) and that was not going to end up well. Poor management!!
Great service, potato was amazing, but the burger was just ok. It's just like one you would have at a summer cookout, nothing "unique" like we were expecting based off of local reviews.
The Best baked potato and burger in New Orleans! Definitely worth the wait!
