Ate at the crab house on the 26th was such a disappointment. We had ate here previously and it was very good. We both had plate with a crab cake, shrimp, and fish. The rice was hard and had no taste, the cake tasted like 1,000 island dressing, and the shrimp were way over cooked. We didn't even eat half our meals. The seafood chowder was good wish I had just gotten that.

Business response:

Amanda-My apologies your experience in the CrabHouse was not good. Please know that is not the norm, nor our goal. I do hope you will provide us another opportunity to change your opinion!

This is such a convenient stop when we attend events in the Port Angeles area. The staff is always helpful and accommodating. We always get a second floor ocean view room and love sitting out on the deck watching the waves come back. One time we had booked to go to the casino the bus stopped in a different location and we missed it. The casino then told us they would catch us the next time they came around but forgot. Luckily the manager was heading out in that direction and offered us a ride. Now THAT is service. We never b... read more

We went in on Ju;y 4 at 9PM at the spur of the moment. Very busy but the wait staff was very attentive and made sure we knew we weren't forgotten. All had some sort of red, white and blue accessory or were all dressed up for the holiday which made for a festive appearance. Our waitress was excellent! (Sorry, can't remember the name.) She was attentive, very happy, always smiling and checking on us in a timely manner despite that she seemed to be covering two sections. She looked like she enjoyed her job and was deliberate on... read more

My husband's steak was tough as shoe leather and my fish was undercooked almost raw in the center. The waitress was at least apologetic and did not charge us for fish cause by the time I got my fish returned my husband had already finished his meal and they had brought my rice out early before my fish and it was cold and they just finished cooking the piece that was raw and sent it back out to me which was then so dried out. Not how I wanted to spend our anniversary dinner.

Paul gives its thumbs up! He had their famous crab omelet and it was a generous serving loaded with crab and asparagus. Very tasty. I have many, many food allergies so could not order from the menu but was able to order side dishes to construct my meal. So Ok for me.
