Friendly and Fair I am so excited I went to Porcello's! I inherited quite a bit of jewelry from my great aunt and most of it was not my style at all. Porcello's Rocks! Recently engaged to the girl I should have married in my 20's. She wanted an "heirloom" type ring which was a bit challenging. A couple of friends told us about Porcello. We went in with high hopes and were extremely satisfied with their service. The sales people are knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. When we could not find the exact ring, their worked with us to design a ring that was perfect - and a ring for me to match. Top notch!
Worth the trip! I had a great experience selling some old jewelry and a few coins from the early 1900's. I had gone to two other places before taking the stuff to Porcello and they actually offered me a bit more. I didn't just want this stuff melted down (it was still real nice) and felt that they would actually sell it. I dealt with Marc who was real professional. Do your research and then go to Porcello. Worth the trip.
Porcello's is a step above! My experience at Porcello's was also very professional, and informative. I brought in a old pocket watch, a ring, and some gold bullion that had been in the family for a few years to have evaluated and was offered a very fair, and lucrative price especially in comparison to other places I had gone to. HUGE SCAMMERS This place is the BIGGEST RIP OFF!!! Scam artists!! I took my $8K ring in to sell and they offered me $350.00. The salesman Shirly or some girly name like that went through all the tactics. "oh this ring has huge flaws", "its not really a 1ct it's actually a 1/2 ct", "you were ripped off when you bought it", "diamonds are worthless and I can't even give yellow gold away". Oh really??? Rip Off Went to sell an old gold ring. 1st went to Bellevue Rare Coins, offered $70. Owed it to myself to check others, so I stopped at Porcello's. Will? examined the ring, claimed it was 14 carat as he tossed it on to the scale. Within an instant he offers $40 to which I chuckled, thanked him for the confirmation. Good Business I was referred to Porcellos by a friend, and was blown away. Not only did I get a fair price for the coins I was selling, I was able to sell some additional jewelry that I wanted to get rid of. Will be back!
