About us: Poquoson Yacht Club is a club of boating enthusiasts and good friends on the Virginia Peninsula. We have a club building and pier at the end of Messick road in Poquoson, Virginia, on the Back River opposite Langley Air Force Base (home of Air Combat Command), NASA Langley Research Center, and Hampton, Virginia. We had our wedding here in June and could not have hoped for a better place to get married. The venue was gorgeous, the water beautiful, and the set up easy! All of the lights are already hung up so all we needed to do was set up the table. Sandy was extremely accommodating and kind with every question and request as well! We could not have hoped for a better place to get married!
We are missing the club here at Windmill Point. We loved having other campers here with us. We look forward to seeing all again next year!

Great for weddings My daughter had her reception here and I had my retirement party here. Wonderful people private lovely views of the ocean. Great people!
Yacht clubbers Missed a fun corn hole tournament and pot luck. Only about 12 heart souls braves the Gale force winds today. Good time, good food, good friends. Congrats to Vince on high score.
