I never imagined the people elected to always have our best interests at heart would turn down a once in a lifetime opportunity to receive $6,000,000 to help their member owners. The RDOF funds became available TODAY, the very day you threw the first $6,000,000 away that would have provided millions more yet you still refuse. I have no personal issues with workers but I feel that Pontotoc Power will forever be behind and our kids will pay for it.
They don't care about their members. The area needs broadband.
I’ve told pepa about this tree over a year ago, they came, looked at it and said f it, but they were trimming my neighbors tree that was nowhere near power lines. Much less falling and taking them down. Maybe if you worked while the weather was pretty there wouldn’t be near the storm damage...

I don't see how the board could vote against offering broadband. It is a vote against progress at a time when it is really needed. Yes it would be costly but it is an investment in the county's future.
If the current leadership was in place when they were looking start PEPA we would be using kerosene lamps for light.
