My husband and I just bought our 1st home here. Our oldest was already having trouble before C-19. This decision will only add to that! In my opinion you should consider how many of your members want this, which are the same people that pay your bill, and pay taxes in this county! This probably would had been a deal breaker when I bought my house if I knew I wasnt going to be able to have internet and I can walk to city limits in less then 5 mins! Absolutely disappointing!
As we go through life, we will leave a legacy. Whether good or bad. The board has left a poor legacy to be remembered by. Instead of leaving stepping stones for future generations, they have left behind stumbling blocks of fear. Our forefathers from Pontotoc County would be ashamed at the boards uneducated approach to hold back commerce and growth.
Im really disappointed in the lack of vision by the board members. I have sold my home in pontotoc county and was waiting on their decision to provide broadband to their customers so i could move back and start my online business. The lack of internet options in Mississippi alone is despicable and forces those of my generation to move out of state. I wanted to stay close to family and the place i call home. Thanks for nothing PEPA

only care about lining their pockets, not about the people, communities, children or the education of our children. Nor do they care about the future of our county.
They don’t care!!! They need new members!!! Do not recommend because of them voting no for broadband!!!
It's a shame that a company that employes some really amazing folks both at their offices and out there on the lines, would make a decision to keep us all so far behind. With the way our children are having to learn why wouldn't this be an obvious choice to make? So shame on you board members. Your employees and customers deserve better. Our kids deserve better.
All because they would not approve rural broad band for Pontotoc county
The board doesn’t care about the citizens of the county and they are afraid of changes. We need all new board members!!!!!
