About this business
Ponchatoulas was founded in February 1996, by original owner Johnny Gaudet, who then partnered with Chris Garriga in 2004. With a passion for good food and fun, Gaudet opened the restaurant on the bustling Park Avenue in downtown Ruston. The building housed a fire station in the early 1900's, complete with the big red fire truck and even horse-drawn carriages lining the downtown streets. I come here a lot, but just now whoever at the register at the bar is very rude. Didn't tell me my price just laid my receipt on the counter then after giving her my money she comes back to give me my change, my hands were out, but instead laid it on the counter, but I wouldn't rate them on one rude worker. Over all that they are a very good place to eat at and the workers I had prior to that were great!!!
Food was excellent. Service was super. Nice place. Very clean.
