We have been loyal to Ponchatoula Animal Hospital since we moved to this area in 1986. The dedication to the care of all our pets is beyond excellent! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants the best care available for their pets. The Vets & support staff are professional, friendly & caring people.
There are no words that can express my gratitude for the staff I found them in 2002 and cannot even think of going anywhere else. My babies have been vaccinated by, treated for injuries and had their lives saved by Dr. Duhon so many times! From snake bites to anaphylaxis caused by a bee sting, tumors, allergies, you name it. She is always spot on with treatment, cares for the animals as much as we do and is just an amazing veterinarian. My cocker spaniel, Twiggy and I saw Dr. Cody Schmaltz today. He was very thorough and took his time answering all of my questions. I did not feel "rushed" as I have at other veterinary offices. The staff was very friendly. We will be back to see Dr. Schmaltz!
I took my cat in this morning and they were wonderful! He went missing on Christmas night and I had just found him in a culvert. They got him in to a vet very quickly. They also took great care of him, even though he wasn’t very cooperative. I appreciate every single person who was working today! They really cared about Applebee’s well-being and it meant so much to me. Thank you so much!
Rude vet. Don’t be sarcastic or harsh especially while someone is worried about their hurt or sick pet! This is why I stopped going here, but we had a bit of an emergency this morning!
The staff were all great. They were very thorough with my fur baby. Also explained everything that I needed to know. I will be going back when I need to bring my pets someplace.
