I am from Mobile, Alabama. I lived on the Gulf Coast my whole life until recently. When I miss home, I visit this treasure. This is absolutely the best Cajun and seafood restaurant not on the coast. If you have never tried The Po-Boy Factory, you are missing out!
We drove from Indiana to Birmingham, Al. To drop off our boys to their Aunt for a summer visit and decided on the way back to drive the extra 40 miles just to eat at this awesome Po-Boy shop. The wife is from New Orleans so she says it's like being at home!

I've been to New Orleans and Mississippi gulf. This place has the closest to authentic Cajun cuisine as you'll outside of the areas mentioned. If you like chain style food you probably won't care for Po Boy. If you like authentic, you'll really enjoy!

So first off I'm 15 minutes away and my food was still hot, fresh and fries crispy when I got home!!! The food was excellent this was my first visit and I can't wait to go back tomorrow!!!
