THE WORST! Their App doesn't work. EVER. Their payment system took time to resolve. Still doesn't recognize me when I sign back in. **************** is a f*kn joke. Never get to the right person. PNC Bank has not resolved an issue outstanding for two months. I sent a check for a monthly mortgage payment which my credit union shows was cleared 8/26/21. I faxed additional paperwork as requested 9/22/21. However, the back of the check was not clear (probably due to lack of ink in the printer it was ran through). They said I needed to provided proof it cleared, I contacted my credit union and they provided a tracer number; still insufficient per PNC Bank. I was a PNC CUSTOMER for almost 15 years. Never had an issue. All of a sudden I called debit card kept declining, I called the next day to hear that they stopped me from using my debit card because they made the decision to close my account. I was confused, ******, and felt disrespected. They gave me absolutely no reason at all and said they didn't have to give me a reason. We have a small business and our bank recently changed from BBVA Compass to PNC. We have had nothing but problems ever since. When we make deposits through the drive thru line or deposits from our merchant service machine, they do not go in for several days. They use to go in almost immediately and now it is taking way longer than normal. In August my dad opened an account online with PNC not realizing the nearest branch is 6 hours away. Shortly after opening the account, the ****************** (where we reside), got hit with Hurricane *** causing significant damage to his home. Less than a week after the Hurricane ***, my dad was hospitalized with COVID and Pneumonia. I wish they get get a lower rating PNC bank is a bunch of thieves. Terrible bank with outrageous fees. Can wait to close my account. I'm done and I mean after 5 years I'm done. This bank is fraudulent becaeful. Don't get your money stolen like it happened to me. Many have told me to close this account and because of silly features like **** and mobile deposits I stuck with them but many institutions now offer those features. Terrible bank!
Not a bank to be trusted, do not put your money into a PNC account. If fraudulent charges go through on your account, you'll never get your money back. PNC will give you the run around for as long as possible. If you happen to already have a PNC account, make sure to file a CFPB complaint and a police report IMMEDIATELY if there is an incident of fraud. PNC has been the worst experience. I applied for HELOC in Aug. I Struggled With my loan processor. I submitted documents for close to nine weeks with a zero progress. A manager and a loan processor did their best to help me, but the underwriters are so behind and so disorganized that it delays the entire process. They followed through and got me a closing date. There should be an option for 0 stars! The *** location at Maple Ave IS THE WORST! First I go through the drive thru- to withdrawal money. I sent in my drivers license and I asked if I could withdraw money from my account. She stated that she needed a second form of identification. The only thing I had on me was my social security card, a debit card from another bank and my birth certificate.
