Top Rated Florist It is without any doubt the best florist in town. My daughters wedding and my Husbands retirement At the Air force Academy where both beautiful and the talk of our family and friends. Everyone I know always has good things to say about Platte Floral. I cannot imagine using a small inferior shop for a large event of mine. There prices are always in line with all fine Florists. And there Christmas open house is beyond Beautiful. Thank You for always coming through, Platte Floral!!!
Platte Floral & Greenhouse This florist has a huge selection of decorative and patio items. Also, it has plants and floral offerings. The location is a little difficult to get to and the service leaves much to be desired. The prices are also on the expensive end. It does have unique and artistic arrangements and ideas so if you can over look the attitude and have the money, have a good time shopping. We have given up! JanW
Grandmothers Funeral The Funeral Flowers for my Grandmother where just Lovely. They did exactly what the family requested, and which such kindness and understanding. The staff was great !
Platte Floral not recommended We have used Platte Floral for many years, but after last April (2008) we will no longer be using their services. We had ordered flowers a month in advance to be delivered at a particular time, and they were not only late for the event, we had to call several times to get the flowers at all. Very disappointing, and we agree with the previous reviewer.
0 Stars wasn’t an option. To start I have many issues! I had a surprise delivery that was scheduled on Saturday that fell through. In return it was arranged for Monday, which is today. Platte Florist delivered the flowers to a neighbor, who I didn’t know or was authorized. According to my security cameras, the door tag was placed on the incorrect apartment, resulting in someone else claiming to me the flowers on my behalf from the neighbor they were left with. Took my humongous jade plant to their nursery to be repotted and they did a great job...not easy to do without breaking off branches. Just went back to their nursery to look for houseplants and enjoyed the employees so much! They spent a lot of time educating me about care and propagation of several varieties. I’m quite pleased with the plants I brought home and the advice I was given. I’ll be back!
Horrible Customer Service I was given another persons flowers after having back surgery in the hospital. I called to explain the situation and to request my own flowers, I was treated rudely and even hung up on. After leaving the hospital and returning the flowers that I was mistakenly given I was still treated rudely and told that the Christmas orders were more important. My family member had to tell them she was going to dispute the charge before they took it seriously. I wonder if the woman with the new baby every got her... read more
20th anniversary flop Ordered 2 dozed roses to be delivered for our 20th anniversary, and they were a disaster - I'm okay spending money for a great product, but when delivered, it looked like something fell on the arrangement or they fell out of the vase and were shoved back in - when we called them, there was no apology ever. This isn't the first bad experience, but it will be the last with Platte Floral...
