Buy and sell low quality clothing... They will pay 8 dollars for a 10 year old pair of Walmart shorts but tell you last seasons Coach purse or Lucky Brand Jeans are out of style...everything in the store is from Rue21, Walmart, and target.
Very poor return policy. Even if the clothes are damaged, they refuse to take care of the problem.
My daughter was told they would hold an item for her until the weekend due to her location. We drove over half hour away, first thing Saturday morning to have them tell her they didn’t hold it for her. My recommendation is that if your policy isn’t to hold items that long, your ENTIRE staff is aware. That was my first time and last time being in your store.
RecommendedI always seem to luck out at this Platos! I recently brought in clothes I dont wear anymore and they gave me a good amount of money for them! And while I waited for them to look through them, I walked around and found some good stuff.
I fist came here for back to school shopping for my teens I saved 300 bucks on just jeans this place is awesome
First time to Plato’s Closet today. I brought a few items in to sell, all of which were brand new with tags and boxes. Customer service was not friendly in any way. They wouldn’t take the brand new shoes “because this brand doesn’t sell well”. Found a few of the same brand on their shelves, very obviously worn, as I waited for 40 minutes for her to process the jeans. They begrudgingly took the shoes as I told them their were others of the same brand. Definitely WILL NOT be recommending anyone to this store. It’s a joke.

Very poor customer service. I had to make a return trip after discovering a security tag still attached to a jacket needing shipped today. Decided to bring in 2 pair of Rock Revival jeans since I had to make the out of my way/schedule trip. Barely a 'sorry about that' regarding the tag & unnecessary trip then told it would be 1 to 2 hours to let me know on 2 pair of jeans, 1 of which is new?
