Brought in 2 full bags of clothes, shoes and jewelery, waited an hour and a half just for them to say we arent buying anything. Most of the clothes we brought were IN THE STORE! All these people were rude and inconsiderate. Fuck this place! Happens every damn time!
I tried to sell TEEN clothes but they would rather be rude and make me and my pregnant wife wait two hours TWO HOURS for a no fuck this store hell anybody looking for some good clothes message me.
At this location right now. Went to use my stamp card that is filled up and get my 20 percent off. Gave the cashier my new card and he says I can't stamp your new card if you want your discount. I said would you stamp it if you were running a sale or if I was buying 50 percent off clearance items. He said yes. So I said you are punishing me for spending 200 dollars in your store? The employee was correct about the policy, but sorry you felt he was rude as he tried to defend a policy to you that he did not make. We do not stamp when you redeem a card. Same policy for the six years we've been open, same policy at all the Houston stores and most stores nationwide.
Haha, yep! - I hate Platos closet they are so judgmental! If you want to down size your closet then you should sell your stuff on Tradesy or donate it to Maams or the Salvation Army and call it a tax write off. Plato's Closet will nickel and dime you. If you wanna buy clothes there, go ahead. Just never sell anything.
Giving this place 1 star is giving it too much already. The store stinks, the clothes in it already are junky looking; yet I take in 3 bags of clothes (almost all with tags on) from J. Crew, Tory Burch sandals & flats, designer clothes really that are brand new WITH THE DAMN TAGS ON. One shirt from J. Crew still had the sale tag of $69.99 on it! Yes, $69 for a sale shirt. Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. Sorry you had a less than favorable experience. With the brands you mentioned you should really be at our women's store, Style Encore. It is next door and deals in brands like J Crew and Tory Burch. Plato's Closet is for brands like Hollister, A&F and items from PacSun in the current 70's inspired styles you see right now in all the teen stores at the mall.
I am going to give the place 1 more shot today I've taken clothes in there on 2 occasion S to sell I was treated rudely by the staff they were extremely snobby to me dare I say looked down their nose at me ! They only accepted 1 of my freshly laundered items that was only worn once an ambcrombie items temperature mind you I paid 80 dollars for they gave me 5 dollars declined other items THAT HAD TAGS CLEARLY NOT WORN.
