Better off giving your stuff away
They flat out lied to me about going through my items!! I have Abercrombie, BCBG, Hollister, Gap, Jessica Simpson, Ect. They didn't even take them out of the bag. Want to know how I know. I packed and folded the items a certain way. They told me my items were out dated, hard to sell, brands they don't sell or stained. They just didn't want to do their job. I knew when I dropped off I saw how many people were ahead of me there was no way for them to go through it all by close.. livid. I hate this store. Liars and lazy people.
I️ will NEVER do any business with these people again. Worst customer service, rude, condescending and flat out horrible. NEVER AGAIN.
I took in some clothes today. I did not expect them to purchase all of my items, if any. I understand that they have to buy items they believe they will sell, however my complaint is with the woman (I am assuming was a manager) who spoke about some of my items to another girl behind the counter. I took in brand new LulaRoe items which retail for $40+. Whether Plato’s Closet wants to buy LulaRoe is their business. Awesome place!!! I walked in and I had no idea it was a thrift store !! Such great deals! It was super well organized and the people were very kind & helpful !
There was maybe one time where I got a decent amount of money for the stuff I brought in, went in over the weekend and took a HUGE bag of clothes filled with forever 21, express, purses, shoes and left with them buying 3 items, for $6. Absolute waste of my time. Gently used, named brand clothing is what they advertise buying and selling and they bought the 3 knock off brands in my bag and left the forever 21 and express clothes. I keep trying to give them another chance to redeem themselves but it gets worse every time I go.... read more
