If your items don’t look “NEW” they will not except them. Don’t bring your “used” clothing to this “used” clothing thrift store .
Don’t go to this store. Employees are rude and have attitudes. I don’t get it, like If you’re not going to give good service than don’t even bother working where you have to communicate with people. They seriously need a whole new staff at this place!!
I love Plato's Closet, but I was very saddened by my experience. Your employees were so rude to me. ): It was close to closing time, but I was at the register by 9:02 pm. One of them even said "FINALLY!!!' to me when I was ready to be checked out. That's not the only thing that happened, nor was it just one person. I felt like I was being bullied. I felt so embarrassed since I was telling my guest who was accompanying me how much I loved the place.
Rudest Staff I've ever experienced. Do not recommend!
This place is a joke! Don’t waste your time buying or selling. They told me that brand new clothes with tags and jeans had too much wear, but they had clothes with holes and from Walmart for sale in the store. All of my clothes were Hollister, Abercrombie and other brand names. And had to wait 3.5 hours for them to tell me pass. I also waited another 5 minutes at the register while the employees stood behind the counter talking to each other. They should be called “Pretentious wannabe Closet!!” They have things that are clearly worn out, outdated, faded, ripped, and just a disaster! It makes me so mad when I leave with a bag full of clothes that are in clearly cute & fantastic condition. They’re horrible! Just go to the ones in Montrose or donate them to a place for a good cause. The employees don’t even dress “trendy” enough hahaha Oh please they’re ridiculous.
My son & I dropped off clothes at 4:00 pm Tuesday afternoon and were told that they would be done in 3 hrs. We returned to the store at about 6:45, so my son could shop a little before they were supposed to be ready for him. While shopping I noticed someone getting pretty loud with the girl who was checking all the clothes to buy. It was actually the woman who was in front of us when we dropped off our clothes. I went to drop of clothes to sell, the lady told me 2 hours I waited 5 hours still not even close to going thru my items. I left after waiting 5 hours with all that time wasted. I went up there a second time 3 hour wait this time. No one is in the store 3 people ahead of me.... guess what after 31/2 hours still no one has went thru my stuff.... the manager is rude.
