If i had the option to give 0 stars i would! My daughter has been trying to sell clothes to Platos closet for years. Your business is a joke and we are done shopping here and trying to sell..while waiting for your children (employees ) to decide to buy clothes we brought in we looked around and found tons of outdated non name brand and dingy dirty clothes and shoes and even found a dress with a hole in it but yet 99% of the clothes that we had brought in that were all name brand and either have not been worn or worn once and... read more

Every time I take clothes to sell, the tell me they are "out of style" when I know they aren't because I see things on the racks that look exactly like what I have. I really like the idea of this store, but i won't be returning. I don't think they are fair.

Hey Sarah, sorry for the late reply! I'm really sorry that you had a bad experience with us. We are always trying to improve our process, so your feedback is invaluable. Our computer system helps us to purchase things in a fair manner, but we know that sometimes we fall short of that goal. Additionally, when we see that items are not selling for us, we will adjust our buying to reflect the changes needed. Platos NEVER fails me!! Not only do I never leave empty handed, but I also leave with extra money in my pocket because of the great prices and them taking clothes to re home. I also got the awesome opportunity to be apart of their amazing team for 4 months. Would always be a returning customer & suggest everyone to shop Platos before heading anywhere else every time :))))
Terrible! Literally EVERYTIME I have taken my clothes there to sell, they have taken one thing and said the rest was "out of style" or "too dressy"........ my clothes aren't out of style and their not too dressy. How come I look around and see worn and tattered clothing on the racks? But yet my clothes aren't taken lol. I won't be returning ever.
