They buy ugly stuff but get rid of the cute stuff ... they need a new system
Called yesterday to put items on hold spoke to justice she’s said they would be on hold until today around the same time which would of been about 3:15. I got there today about 1:15 items that were supposed to be on hold for ME was sold to someone else. Not pleased at all!!

It is a racket!! They take some of the worst looking clothes to put on the racks & charge almost new prices then when you take things to sell they try to only take things with tags and offer you very little.
When Plato’s Closet first came to Owensboro they had a great selection and customer service, but not anymore. All of the girls that were working were huddled around talking when they need to be cleaning up the store. At the fitting room there were clothes scattered everywhere and frankly the store was just trashy. All of the clothes were terrible as well, just patiently waiting for this store to close down as well.

Great selection and even better employees. Best Plato’s I’ve been to yet.
All of these negative reviews are based on a STORY that nobody knows the truth behind. I have never had an issue here- buying or selling. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful. As for the store being cluttered— just chalk it up to vast inventory. It’s a shame Facebook has even allowed slanderous reviews from people who just read a Facebook post.
