My daughter has been there twice now for a donation and has been butchered twice by these incompetent people, blood everywhere, but they claim a small spot of blood. Left a huge knot and bruise
I have been donating for almost 2 years now. I was told today that I cannot donate because I am taking 3 meds for my type 2 diabetes. This makes me sad, as I have enjoyed donating. I have made friends with a lot of the employees. Namely, Blake, JJ, Kelson, Maia, Kayla, Amara, David, and many others whose name I can't remember. I will hopefully be back soon if I can get to a point where I don't have to take so many meds for my diabetes.

I called ahead to make sure that having Type 1 diabetes wouldn’t interfere with donation. I was told it was fine, come on in. I spent close to 2 hours at the facility going through all the pre screening only to be told I couldn’t donate due to having diabetes and being insulin dependent. Very frustrating to waste time and gas to drive up when I called ahead anyways.
Had a friend go in there the first time and was denied because his temperature was “too high” and went to Mizzou Quick Care to see if he was sick, he wasn’t. They said he wouldn’t be able to come back for two weeks. Two weeks go by, he went in today and was turned away because his temperature was “too low”.. don’t even waste your time going there.
Went through the entire process to get told that my tattoos were "too elaborate and have too much shading" thereby disqualifying me from donating. I am a nurse with no health issues, take no medications, and am a registered bone marrow donor. I have less than 15 tattoos (their limit), all professionally done and none within the last 8 years (their standard is 5 years). I am very disappointed in the service I received there. Please state what is needed specially on the site. You clearly have homeless people and drug addicts in your waiting area, but deny healthy people due to a postmark.
