Burnt end sandwich on a kwick and a rack of Memphis to go. Nothing better.
I loved the smoked turkey and the beef brisket. The Memphis ribs were good but not the star. I have heard some people complain that the corn bread is too sweet. It is more like a moist Johnny Cake than corn bread and I loved it. The fried okra was cooked perfectly.... crunchy fried batter but hot and soft inside. Corn on the cob was hot, juicy and sweet. My one suggestion for improvement is to have adequate air conditioning.
This is a must stop every time we visit my brother in Saratoga Springs! You would be hard pressed to find something on the menu that wasn't good! Everything is amazing and the owners are wonderful! Had an amazing birthday lunch there yesterday and got some items to take back home for my husband. So wonderful! Keep up the great work!
