I go back to the original PJ's, so I'm kind of proprietary about the eating experience. That said, Bar-B-QSA has surpassed the old place in so many ways. Counter service is polished and exceptional, and the pulled pork & brisket is downright sensational. Also, big props for the collard greens! While the Drive-in aspect of the old place has kind of faded away, Bar-B-QSA puts out a solid, tasty product that we can now enjoy year round.
I left my cell phone in the ladies room on Saturday- I will come by first thing Sunday morning
The BBQ at PJs is superb!!! PJ, Caroline, big D, and the entire staff are amazing! Extremely Supportive of Veterans and the local communities. Have to checkout the car and bike nights
Honestly one of the worst bbq joints I 've ever visited ordered pulled pork sandwich it had more sauce than pork, ordered a burnt ends sandwich that was so salty I thought that the shaker was left in it,Plus ordered o full Rack of ribs got back to hotel to find they only gave me half a rack,hardly any meat on the bones .........wasted $ 55 on food that I would not feed to my dog ????
Haven't been here in awhile and they have put a lot of work into the place. Its top notch inside and out. Plenty of seating and the BBQ is to die for. A must stop if you live nearby or are visiting.
We were transporting a patient from Oswego county all the way out to a hospital out this way and we stopped here. The food was really really good. We don't have anything like this where we are from. It was a very clean restaurant too. I was very pleased with the visit. I wish I lived closer.
It's great if you like BBQ, no healthy choices for those who are looking for a lighter meal
The NC Style Pulled Pork was delicious as were the hush puppies and slaw I got with my platter. Wish it wasnt such a drive, it would be a regular!
