Great Pie – I love the fact that I can dash in on my way home from work...grab a slice a delicious pizza a cold beer and call it good for the day. I love the fact that the chef sorta just puts something together for the daily slice of pizza special...You never know what your going to get, but you can count on it being good.
Great Italian Food! – My wife and I grabbed dinner here, and we both agreed our meals were faboulous. I enjoyed a complex version of baked macaroni, and she had a pulled pork dish. Both were outstanding, as was our service. The dishes were obviously well thought out, and the pork dish utilized locally sourced (Carlton Farms) meat. The beer selection was also very good, with a number of small production offerings unavailable at most places. The only drawback was that the dining room is small and open: cozy yes, intimate no.
Darn good pizza – We went to Pizza Fino tonight with our 3 yr old and the in-laws. We ordered 1 18in pizza and it was plenty for 4 adults and a child. We also ordered an appetizer of fried zucchini which was so good. Fino may not be suitable for children later in the evening, however, at 5pm it was ok; especially since there was a very noisy group in the dining room with us. But, I think the staff may not be used to young children since they put a newly lit candle right in front of our toddler. We couldn't reach for it fast ... read more
Pizza by the slice – I have only been to Pizza Fino three times since it opened around the corner from my house...two of the times we had dinner and didn't find it really fantastic...it was good but by no means great. Last night we stopped in to grab a couple of slices of pie before heading home. I was impressed as was the bf. The crust was crispy (great flavor), and the sauce was rich, hearty and full bodied in flavor...amazing. The slices we had were some brilliant concoction called "Dragon Ball" with meatballs, chili flak... read more
Still excellent – Haven't been here for at least a year, but we were in the neighborhood. Sounds like from the reviews that there has been a chef change since then. We had great food when they first opened, a few times since, and I can tell firsthand you they still do. They pizza is still some of the best in town, thin crust NY style. I had the Lasagna and it was so good my wife ate half of mine. The Caesar salad is excellent, and the Asparagus soup was outstanding. I would not say the food is better than it was when they fir... read more
Great neighborhood restaurant – My family and I have enjoyed Pizza Fino since they opened a couple years ago. The food is almost always fantastic (never bad), the atmosphere and service is unpretentious, but still attentive, and for a casual neighborhood restaurant they offer an awesome and ever changing list of wine, beer, and cocktails. We highly recommend Pizza Fino! On a side note, I encourage anyone reading these reviews not to take the last one too seriously. I checked out her other reviews and it seems every business ... read more
Crappy service, had to go back a second time to get the dres – My husband had to have some dental work done so he requested “pasta and fries” because he couldn’t chew anything else. I called Pizza Fino because it was close to my house and ordered that and a house salad. When I got there, I watched a rude waitress tell a women and her two friends they couldn’t eat at the bar but there was an open table with only two chairs. This obviously wouldn’t work for the woman unless one of her people sat on the floor. When the cook was... read more
I love Pizza Fino – It's a warm and cozy place to hang out. The service is excellent and happy hour prices are hard to beat. The new chef eally puts out some great food and I highly recommend it.
Great food and good prices. Italian cuisine combined with local ingredients. – Try more than just the pizza. The seasonal salad had an amazing pomegranate vinaigrette with grilled pears, perfect! The pumpkin soup was great with a balance of flavors. The ravioli was a savory treat perfect for a cold November night. A wonderful combination of local flavors and Italian cuisine. I took my friend from Italy and she is still raving about it! Also, very reasonably priced. I would have paid twice as much in the Pearl for food not ne... read more
