great desserts but not worth the service – This place is lucky their desserts are delicious! We were told to sit and wait for our order to be taken once we knew what we wanted but It was uncomfortable to be asked to sit down and look at the drink menu when all my party was there for were the desserts. Once we were seated it took 15 minutes before someone finally came over to take our order. Little Miss Tattoo needs to listen – Fourth visit. This was to be our first time "to go." The over-tattooed "help" at the counter asked if it was here or to go and we both responded "to go." She said, "look in the case and then I'll come to your table to take your order." We both thought that was odd, but sat down. Then the princess brings over menus and waters. Idiots lost our wedding order – Lady behind the counter really copped an attitude. We paid for the 2 samples after dropping a couple hundred dollars on the order. No issue with this, although a "congratulations, thank you for your business, don't worry about the samples" would have been nice, but they charged our card, then lost the order. Complete idiots. We'll see if they can pull their collective act togethre long enough to come through . . . We've been working with them for 2 days to try and get the order placed again.
Who doesn't love chocolate – I love that I can stroll in early for a coffee and some breakfast, and end my day with a glass of wine and some fine chocolate.
I rocomend this place to everyone!!! – I loved the queen of sheba with coconut chocolate swirl ice cream on top!!!! If your going to pix u must try it!!! Every time I come to pix I am pleased. The staff is friendly and the food is wonderful. Not only are their desserts awesome but their sandwiches are tasty.
One of a kind! Special treat! – We have had a great experience with PIX. Everything is awesome! We did have one bad experience at xmas we ordered the coffee log cake. It was not their usual quality and the flavor was off. This was not typical.. so we called. The immediately gave us a gift card and invited us back! We have yet to use that but are anxious to get back in there... You really can't go wrong with any dessert from this place. The homemade ice cream is also fantastic!
Macarons... – I agree, the service isn't great. It's sometimes a hassle to get anybody's attention. And yes, sometimes the cakes can be a little on the dry side. But they have a great beer selection, and I'll continue going just for the macarons. Convenient area, too.
adorable and delicious! – This patisserie rocks my world. I go here pretty often for coffee in the morninging, and drinks at night when this place gets crazy fun. The servers are sweet, casual (not rude) and are friendliest when they're treated like human beings. I've seen customers act like spoiled two-year-olds if pix is out of a certain macaroon flavor - it makes me sad, too, but I'm not going to get all freaky about it. Prices too high for mediocrity – There are way better places on Division with way better food and way better prices. Lower your prices and I might come back.
