This was my first experience with therapy and unfortunately it wasn't a very pleasant one. I'm a 22f and struggle with anxiety. I had made my appointment 2 weeks in advance, specifically requesting a female. Two hours before my appointment I was told they did not accept my insurance and if I wanted to attend my appointment it would have to be self-pay, which is significantly more expensive. Do NOT see Joann Huddleston!! She was extremely demeaning to me and let my mother schedule an appointment for me and I’m 25. She wouldn’t even fully disclose that my mother had made me appointment and had given information. She clearly had no respect for me as an adult. Also the way she spoke to me was incredibly rude. This women will make you cry if you arnt strong willed. She's a hold hearted snake.
