Very Impressed. I went to Dr. Wipfli and he was GREAT. I did go to 2 other places before and was NOT impressed, Updegraff and Eye institute of West Florida.
I’m a new patient at St. Lukes. I was very nervous to go to such a large hospital with so many locations; fearing I would get lost in the shuffle. However, much to my surprise the staff at St. Lukes makes me feel as though I’m their only patient. From the gentleman in the parking lot to the receptionist who checks me out at the end (and everyone in between)..I feel welcomed and well taken care of.
I've had about eight appointments with St Luke's and nothing but disappointment. Cataract and ocular implants ate up all of my insurance plus $6,000 out of pocket and results were not as promised, and in fact now have to wear glasses to read, and this was not required prior to the operations. Also, you will be asked to sign a contract basically taking away your right to sue - strange?
RecommendedLove St Luke’s! I have been treated there for 8 years. Dr Phillpotts specializes in diseases and surgery of the vitreous and retina. I can drive and read and live my life to the fullest because of him and the skills and knowledge God has given him. They have several motor home ports in the parking lot and we have stayed there many times for my appointments. The staff & doctor all have been great.The facility is nice & clean..Everyone has been so nice..We have not had success like others have..My husband had both eyes done for cataracts not yet been 4 mos and has to have a additional laser surgery the end of this month .He has night driving issues still like starbursts and other issues..The expense is a shock will be making payments for awhile and now additional fees for another visit $70.00 & not sure yet what the next surgery will cost us.Yes I know one cant put a price on one... read more
