I bought 1.5 pounds of organic pacific salmon for $37 and it went bad less than 24 hours later. I took it out of the fridge to make for dinner and it had an awful, unmistakable stench.
Amazing seafood shop! The sushi is always incredibly fresh, and the quality of the fish is consistently excellent. I especially love that they offer fresh sushi on weekdays. Everything tastes premium and well-prepared. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. One of the best places in Toronto for fresh seafood and sushi. Highly recommended! 🐟🍣👏
Extremely overpriced. The exact same brand of lumpfish caviar at loblaws for $6.99 is 13.99 here. I got a small seabass filet for $45. Great quality but not worth the price gouging
If you don’t mind paying more for fresh excellent quality fish and excellent service this seafood store should be on your radar! Consistently excellent.
I used to get my fish from the grocery store so I wasn't used to the higher prices. That said, this place is worth it. Every time I get fish here, everyone who eats my cooking gets their socks blown off. Their steelhead trout became my favorite fish ever. And they offer you a free lemon every time, which is a lifesaver because of how often I forget to grab one from a grocery store.
