We were trying different beach campgrounds this year. This was our least favorite. It's older and not very clean. No showers at beach exits or pet waste bags. (We did have our own, but they are provided at Ocean Lakes) Our first golf cart was so sticky from candy that we had to take it back. The next one was just as dirty. We watched them put them right back in line. I will add that the small box of Cheerios for $7.99 was just silly.
We have been coming here for the past 10 years, only skipping a couple in that 10. But keep coming back. It's perfect, can walk to beach, enjoy the the pool, or just relax.
We love Pirateland would not consider any of the other campgrounds!
Campground and staff are great. But lock your stuff up. Sadlt the thieves are here too. Our $400 Yeti cooler was stolen this week 😥
