AT&T Cell Signal is crap. Wifi is garbage. Cable is garbage. Camp sites are cramped, bring someone who's good at parking in tight spaces with lots of hazards. Nice pools, nice camp store. So many golf carts. 2000 camp sites. Ocean is super close. We'd come back if we had to.
They refuse to mow grass when campers leave and before campers come in. We have been coming here for 10 or more years. The last 3-4 years, the grass at our sites have been up to our knees. Yes, we filled out comment cards and yes, we have spoken to management. Seems as though nothing phased them. Their wooden canopies are leaning too. Camp here if you must.
The staff was not friendly at all. Everything shut down at 11:00. You couldn't even ride your golf car to bath house after 11:00, but you could crank up your diesel truck and drive it there. Doesn't make sense. Will not go back
Pirateland is one of my happy places. I do not have words to describe how much my family and I love it. We try to go every year. If you want to go on a beach trip to truly relax, lose track of time, and reconnect with your family, go here. You won't regret it.
