Went out for the evening and wanted to leave our coach at the campground. Park would not allow Uber to come pick us up at the site. We had to walk 1/2 mile to the guard shack to meet the driver. All while the meter was running. On our return to the campground I felt like the guard would allow us to be driven back to our site but nope. Guard was rude and wouldn't even explain why other than "we don't allow taxi or Uber in the park. We had to walk 1/2 mile back to our site this time carrying all our bags. We have gone to Pirateland every year over the 4th of July week, for my sons birthday on the 3rd, for the last 8 years. We try to go at least one other time as well. We love it there. Every one is so friendly including the staff and other campers. We feel safe letting our boys, ages 13 and 14, go to the pool by themselves and actually go any where in the campground alone. It's a very safe environment. Can't wait until next July!!!! We miss it as soon as we leave!!!!

Just spent a week plus a couple of days, as always had a great time. Wish the weather would have been better.
