We have been camping there for about 30 years. Never had any problems.
We had another excellent vacation. We were so excited to be able to watch the eclipse on the beach and the campground even provided the glasses. Love this campground. We are considering buying a permanent site here.
Thankfully we picked a good week and the campground was not crowded. The beach was nice. The bathhouses on the other hand could have been kept up a lot better. Even the newer/updated bathhouses could have been looked after a lot better so I was really disappointed from that standpoint.
