We had an excellent experience today. My daughter is in a wheelchair so we appreciated the nice, long ramp and easy access. We had the family style meal, and all the food was wonderful. The chicken was moist but not greasy and the dumplings were "just like Momma" makes. We loved the beautiful and inviting decorations and look forward to returning in the Christmas season. :)

Long ride from Carlinville, Illinois but we'll worth it! Short wait, great people and better food
I've heard about this place for years, so decided to make the trip. Chicken was ok. The rest was mediocre. The peach cobbler tasted funny and there was only a spoonful of it. We walked in the door and orders were barked at us that we needed to move out of the way. I was very disappointed about the whole experience. Way too many decorations and it felt almost like we were being warehoused in and out. I was hoping for cozy and comfortable. It was not. I sure don't know how they stayed in business so long.
So good . We'll worth the trip . Great food and great people.
Great food and the owners are soo sweet! Our family loves going to eat there.
