It's great that Pioneer's Cabin is still open. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is very good. You just can't beat their fried chicken and blackberry cobbler.
We drove three hours to check it out, and was very impressed. Food was delicious and service was great. They have the sweetest general manager. The fried chicken was hot and juicy and the salad was amazing. We didn't have room for desert til we got back home, but the BlackBerry cobbler was delicious. My husband liked his rubbarb pie also.
Always good haven't been there now that it's under new management
I would drive 3 hour's from Sikeston, Missouri any day to enjoy their chicken, it's the greatest.
We truly enjoyed our visit! The food was delicious and our waitress was the sweetest thing ever!
Drove 65 miles for some of the best fried chicken around. We were worried if anything had changed in the food with new owners. I'd like to say that the food was better but I can't. There's no way it could be better than before.
I think the food is just as good as it always was and the addition of ribs was a huge plus. I am glad we stopped in for a nice family meal!
