Smells Like A Retirement Facilty – This is about as Italian as Lean Cuisine frozen dinners. I got confused between my water and my wine because they tasted the same.

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER – Horrible food, rude wait staff, we had wine spilled on us with no apology, and the owner followede me out the front door screaming. Don't go there!!!!

If you think Carrabba's is good..... – If you think Carrabba's is good you haven't been to Pino's. The ricotta is so creamy. The wine is superb. The cheesecake is to die for. The food is well worth the price.

Not the Original – Clean, generally friendly. As an Italian, the food is only mediocre. The bread is too doughy. The eggplant was pretty bad -- it is a dish I typically have at all Italian restaurants. The salad was good but uninspired. Please check my ratings.

Fine dining for Olive Garden prices – We used to frequent a place in Occidental, CA called "Negri's," and have been looking for a stand-in Italian eatery in Houston. We think we may have found it. The food is great! The waitress recommended the sampler dinners, since it was our first visit, and in addition, Marilynn had the minestrone and I had the eggplant parmesian on mine, too. She said the minestrone was good (but not Negri's good), but I thought the eggplant was heaven. The fried mozzarella wasn't the best, though. Come... read more

Simply the Best – The food, the service, the ambience has been the finest since my family started going to Pino's in the early 80's.

Great date restaurant – I have only been to Pino's once. The service was great and the food delicious. I highly recommend the Lasagne al Peppi. Usually when I eat out, the portions are so large that I have to take half of the meal back home in a doggie bag. But at Pino's, I found the portions to be just perfect for getting stuffed (but not uncomfortably so). Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. And the food came out piping hot.

Great Food – The veal piccata is to die for. . . . I've driven past this restaurant for decades... I finally went in one evening and now I can't stop going.

Real Italian food. Authentic recipes and the added attention that you get only from family owned businesses. The food is the best I've tasted outside of Italy ! !
