The doctors and PAs are lovely people who listen - and who make disastrous medical decisions. Several years ago I was diagnosed three times with a UTI - that turned out to be (1) an burst appendix; (2) pancreatitis;and (3) a tumor. Why did I stay? Because they are lovely people who listen. Recently, they diagnosed me with hypothyroidism - so they increased the dosage of my thyroid medication. But it should have been clear from my records that I actually have a hyperactive thyroid. I’ve never had a problem with Pinon and I’ve been going for years, Wilson is really great with mental health. But, I was charged $80 for a missed appointment, which sure I shouldn’t have missed but it wasn’t my fault. If Pinon is raving about how good they are with mental health by having depression screenings every visit, they shouldn’t charge a patient with severe depression a fee for missing an appointment. The front desk staff is the best I have ever experienced. The PA and the rest of the staff is great. I am usually disappointed with customer service at most of my medical offices but Piñon is PERFECT!
I have been with this practice for more than 9 years - Love them! My whole family goes here! Dr. Wilson and staff have always been very helpful and kind! The Front Desk ladies are great too! Just there yesterday! Receptionist saw me rub my head and asked if I was Ok and that it would not be too much longer! I really appreciated that. It was later in the day and I expected a little wait. It was all good!
They (Darcy) used to have a five star review from me but honestly now there is no “patient care” they have adopted the turn and burn philosophy and make patients wait 45 minutes + for a scheduled visit, then keep the appointments das short as possible. Once the appointments happen, then come the multiple discrepancies in prescriptions sent, to billing issues, to referrals recommended but never sent or followed up on. Truth be told, I’m really not even sure what they actually do there...
