The lab is perfectly fine. It's getting TO the lab that's a problem. This building is a medical building. One would think it would be more patient friendly. If there is a better place to point this out, Admin, let me know in the response and I'll remove it. The lab is at the end of a long hall which is close to being half the length of the entire building from entranceway to lab. Waited for 45 minutes for a blood sample. The technician was great, so I assume they are short-staffed.
I am at UPMC Lab Services for my annual mammogram screening. Checking in is easy with a customized QR code from the patient portal. Andrea was very compassionate and thoughtful as she manipulated the machine to take photos of my breasts. I found my results on the patient portal just a few hours after the screening.
